With four-year-old love

#Enjoy my writings

With four-year-old love, he peeked through the tall door,
Waiting eagerly, for his mother to return,
With chocolates, biscuits, and candy he hoped,
Cause there was so much more he wanted to learn.

He wanted to ask, who colored the sky yellow and blue,
why can't I fly like the pretty bird outside,
why he didn't have a tail like Doggy, he would ask,
And he knew mother would surely reply, no matter what.

Lovely stories of bears, he listened to every day,
Mother made him a cake, like chocolate clouds, he'd say,
To songs and rhymes, he would sing along,
even after missing the lyrics, he would never be wronged.

In her long lovable arms, fuzzy, and warm,
He would smile, giggle and laugh in glee,
mother would soon enter the dream world he created,
so with his four-year-old love, he waited.
