The untold tale
The people of the village knew exactly what he meant! The fearsome dragon had woken up. They were scared to death. A man fearfully said,” a year before, the dragon had woken up on a stormy day and he destroyed the farms of the village.” Another woman’s voice trembled as she said,” The creature took one person from the village who was never to be seen again!” There was a rumor that the dragon could speak and this frightened them all.
‘Boom Boom’ the lightning roared in the sky. People started drifting away to their homes, horrified. Everyone except for the little girl, Loana who hid innocently under the trembling tree. She was clueless, not knowing what to do or where to hide. She started weeping, for she was tender and untutored. No one was to be seen outside in the terrified village. Not a single soul was seen on the grey-haired farm, not by the shut doors and neither by the unclosed gates of the village.
Suddenly she heard a voice quietly roar behind her. Loana frightfully asked," Is anyone there?”. Silence was the only answer. She was so confused, she was doubtful whether she would ever see her dear parents again, whether she will ever see her friends again and whether she will ever be saved. Her random thoughts were interrupted by a dry voice that whispered," Come with me, I can save you." She doubted who it was.
She paused for a second and turned back to see the fearsome dragon. ‘Aaaaaaaah’ she screamed with fear and trembled back as the deadly dragon grabbed her hands with its ghastly feet. The dragon took off into the deep dark clouds, and she struggled to let go of its hold. It’s scales cut her gentle skin as she pleaded the dragon to leave her alone. The dragon's dry voice again roared and yelled," Stay quiet you filthy little girl”. She brawled over and over again. Suddenly the dragon dropped her, from somewhere above the screaming storm and the roaring clouds, deep into the dead ocean that lay below.
She held her breath for as long as she could, but never survived. Only if she was not innocent enough to believe anyone she would have been saved. She was never seen again. There she lay, deep in the ocean bed, just like the little whelp of the mother dragon that was once slain by the ruthless people in the village.
