In this lockdown period, I realized one thing, I figured out a huge meaning in a small situation that made me rethink an idea I have been following to write my essays. We all have a natural hunch that on opening our windows or balcony, we will get a blast of cold wind... Right? But when I actually did that, I experienced nothing, no cold winds, no cool atmosphere, and moreover no sign of wind at all! However, we all know that the wind is somewhere out there, It is not hiding, is it?

 Well now, when I opened my main door, the winds rushed to the main door from my balcony... For a second, I was confused. How did the wind come to my notice, only after I opened another way for the air to move out?  Now, that's when I realized, that wind needs some space to move around. It is certain that when we stand in a huge ground, we usually feel wind striking us. 

Although that was not the same case when I tried it...In this situation, when we are at our home, we are in an enclosed space. For some air to ventilate in and out of our house, we not only need to open all windows but also try opening the main door. You might wonder now, why I am speaking of this unnecessarily, but trust me, I know that you can connect this to what I am going to talk about!

Well, you all know that I am going to talk about writing an essay, further in this writing, as mentioned in the title right? Now, of course, I am not a world-known writer or a much popular author, but I am definitely someone who writes regularly. According to me, the major obstacle for all writers is to find an idea on which they should start their novel, story, or even an essay. 

It is not as easy as you think to choose a good idea because any topic we are writing an essay on should be enlightening to the reader. Of course no one likes to read boring essays! Now, let us get back to the connection I had mentioned earlier. When a writer or say a person decides to write an essay, we all know that the first thing he will need is a topic, to begin with. 

Everyone has a natural hunch that if we have an idea or a topic based on which our essay is going to be, words will flow out of our minds into the paper. Although sadly, that is not how our minds work. Though we have an idea, we would not be able to put our thoughts together on the paper until and unless we have an opinion. That is right, we need to have an opinion on any topic we choose because writing is all about expressing your opinion in the form of words! 

The most important key to a writer for his writings to be successful is to be open to all kinds of opinions. As we know there are many opinions on a certain topic and understanding all possible ways things can go right or wrong is the best way to achieve the purpose of your essay.

Well, let's connect my opinion to the situation I experienced...Opinions act just like the main door that allows our minds to think outside the box! The words are like the winds that rush through as soon as the main door or our opinions open up! Now, you might be thinking about what are the ideas in this scenario. It is nothing but the balcony door because, without opening that, no words will be able to approach our minds! Just like how opening many windows may result in motion of air in and out of our house which creates a pleasant atmosphere, when we consider most of the possible opinions on our topics, our minds will become more open to diverse thoughts and we will be able to put good pieces of writing to our readers!

It is certainly not true that we can only write when we are in the outside world, it is not necessary that only outside our home we find ideas to write about... A home is a place where you have been developing all your habits, why not try a new one? Do not hesitate, because tell me, have you ever spent such a long time at your home? Use time wisely, that is all I can tell you guys!  

To be frank, the reason I want to tell you for not uploading an essay is that being locked inside my home, I am actually running out of ideas! Although we all know that its not the reason... When you are really passionate or say you are really willing to write an essay, you do not wait for an idea to knock the doors of your vast mind! Start with this essay, go ahead grab a book and a pen and start expressing your views! Also, they are just your opinion, they do not have to be written with fancy looking words!!

Cause you know what our good old saying says, 'Practice makes a man perfect!'.
